New Game+: Dead has a New Game+.In a way.It has New Game modifiers. After completing the game you will be given the option to toggle on and switch about some options for when you start a new game. All of these options make the game harder.But isn't Dead hard already?Yes.In a way.Dead is not meant to be stupid hard like those annoying "Impossible Platformers" made in Flash. Dead is just meant to be a good challenge. But, if you're the sort of person that DOES want to be tested to the limit then these new game modifiers are for you.Turning one on will be hard enough. Turning all of them on will make a challenge fit only for Koreans.Shout out to the three or four people commenting on these journals.. Beta 4.0.4.5 Update: Quick patch before release:- Tutorial prompts now update if you change keybindings mid-way- Stats will appear for certian secret things now- Game is now has a windows border- There is a small chance the Silenced will no longer give up mid-fight.. New Crosshairs: 4.0.6.6: I've added a bunch of new crosshairs that will hopefully make things easier if you need that extra help. Some are a bit nuts like the one above but I figure the more options the better.I may have also fixed the issue with Dying Ember not giving Easy Mode achievements. I check the code over and over and it seems totally solid. I think if you didn't get the achievement then something particular funky must have been happening.We'll get there in the end.Have a good one!Alec. The Achievements in Dead Aren't Rubbish: I'd like to talk about the achievements in Dead.I've made sure that each achievement brings something new. Nothing silly like "Kill 10 Rats" but instead, new challenges and interesting ways of killing bosses. In other words these achievements are not a waste of your time.For example, one achievement is to kill a particular boss without using your self-combustion ability. A harder challenge is to kill the same boss without moving!There are medium and hard achievements for every boss in the game if you find Dead to be too easy.I also make sure to complete every achievement personally (except for the hardest one, which you can see above on the right). Mini-Dead: WAIT ONE EXTRA DAY!: Due to Steam things the minimum date I can release Mini-Dead is the May 4th instead of May 3rd.
